Why the original remains important
The 2004 expanded edition is not a reason to discard the 1966 book. Preserving both makes it possible to trace what was published in each period and cite the correct pagination. Traditional names also need to be connected to their relevant iwi and hapū accounts, rather than treated simply as modern map labels.
